Fully automated valve test rig capable of testing DN15 to DN250 valves up to 76 bar water pressure and 6 bar air test pressure.
The valve to be tested is clamped down into position in a Hydraulic Press which has a swing out top beam allowing overhead access to the test bed. Valves can easily be loaded using an overhead crane or hoist.
The test bed is sited at comfortable working height for the operator.
The valves are tested in a fully interlocked test chamber. Pressure cannot be applied to the valve under test unless the doors are closed and locked.
A fully automated leak detection system monitors the valve seat leakage and signals the PLC should leakage be outside the pre set tolerances.
This photo shows the valve under test fully clamped in position.
The rig is fully PLC controlled with a series of easy to follow menus being presented to the operator.
To keep the operator informed of what is taking place circuit diagrams are displayed on the panel mounted display.
Another example of the PLC control system visual displays.
The system automatically monitors the test pressure during the test cycle and test reports can easily be printed off.
